I've been trying the Aliexpress route for few months via different sellers too, and wait for refunding. They are out of stock.
I found some body is selling the relay CR2-12V. If you really want to get one, you can go on eBay. But it is very expensive, the seller calls for $120/ each plus $30 for shipping.

Default Nowhere to be found.....

We have 2 2002 RX300's and I've replaced these twice, pretty easy overall, but the relays are nowhere to be found. The joker on Ebay trying to get $120 per is out of his mind, I'd rather buy a used passenger side switch if I needed another one. $45 yes, $120 no way.

You are absolutely right. You can just buy a used passenger side switch if you need, and then replace the bad one. The risk is you never know how long it could be used no issue.
Unfortunately, I bought one to replace the bad one but failed within 2 months.......

I'll add myself to the list of unsatisfied people. I never got the relay and had to have AmEx nullify the payment. Be careful: Aliexpress discreetly lists a cutoff date after which they consider you satisfied, even if you never received the order

I am 2 for 2 with good results from Aliexpress, getting this relay in 2014 and a radiator fan motor a few months ago. However, the recent problems with ordering this relay has tarnished my opinion of them.

Hey everyone,
Like many of you I have searched all over the internet. Searching for weeks now. (Sierra is out of stock and the only guy on ebay wants $60/piece )I have a theory that the guy on Aliexpress is monopolizing this cheap relay. Trying to make himself the only supplier, in the world lol. Ebay and Aliexpress is the same guy
Don't bother the Apliexpress route, order will be refunded or will be too late to refund.

I can afford it but will not buy from him out of values and principles, maybe for $25. In the mean time i'll look for one in a junkyard.
*Before this was a known problem and solution it cost $10 for (4) of them!

There's no need to build an H-bridge from 2 relays. You can buy H-bridge relays, just not the exact one needed.
If mine breaks I'm trying this one: http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/...bRzJlqfQ%3d%3d

Spec sheet for original and alternate attached.
I included spec sheets for ACT and ACTP. The linked product is type ACTP.

Please keep this email thread updated in case you find some cheaper option than paying $60 for a part that we were earlier able to get for $2-3.
And just checking with the friendly Clublexus community ... Edit snip

Hi all.
I have been away from this forum for a while and honestly seek for your understanding and forgiveness. When you have a large family, its not always easy to be online all the time. Thats my situation.
I was able to solve the CR2-12V relay issue in my RX300 by using 2 relays as can be seen on the attached diagram. Though the fittings will not match but the functionality is guaranteed. I have used mine for 3 months now without any failure. Make sure you remove the CR2-12V relay before connecting the substitute.

All you need to do is purchase two small 5-pin 12V relays and connect the two as shown to represent the equivalence of the CR2-12V relay. I had to use a networking cable called CAT5E cable to extend the connection outside the switch, used a sealing tape to hold the relays . It might look rough but if you get the connection right, you stand not to loose the 60$. It is like thinking outside the box.

If u need any more clarification, you can chat me up on +2348036748876 using whatsapp for easy reply.

Thank you.
