Default Source for RX300 fast install struts at a good price...

I noticed that other members were not able to find fast install coil-over strut assemblies for the RX300s. It was about to give up when I found them at 1AAuto.com. They are under $130 ea $240/pair. I am installing them next week and will report on their performance. I am amazed at the heavy-duty nature of the struts on these vehicles. The front ones weigh 22 lbs each. I also want to mention that 1A Auto is a pure pleasure to deal with and specifically asked that I give them some feedback once thay are installed as this is a new item for them. Regards, Russ

I wasn't aware someone actually made complete strut assemblies for the RX300. Let us know how well they fit and the quality.

Did they come with the upper strut mount? If so, that will be interesting to see as the other manufacturers seem to not get that right.

RX300 FWD and AWD fronts struts are the same parts, but AWD struts are out of stock and FWD struts are available, weird, unorganized website

Yes, they are FCS. I am wondering if they possibly had a run on the few they had in stock due to the 100 views of this post...IDK, but I had a smooth experience getting mine. I used their link to notify you when a part becomes available again on the 17th for the rear struts which were out of stock at the time and on the 25th they emailed me that they had them in. Four days later I had them with Thanksgiving falling in the middle of the shipping process (free shipping BTW).
One of the owners of 1AAuto, Mike Green has some great installation videos on YouTube and that is how I first became aware of them.

@RX300CE...Personally, I like the way their site navigates, but that's just me. I was told by Monroe that both front and rear struts are different on AWD and FWD (though I didn't ask them about coils since they didn't have full coilover assemblies anyway), but what you say makes sense. Actually, I just went to their site and I see the FWDs seem to be in stock individually though out of stock in pairs. I would really be interested to hear if anyone else has the same prompt success as I did with the "notify me" when the part becomes available option. This may be a new item for them since they don't have stock images on some of them, and they may be waiting to see what kind of demand there is before they order more than a few at a time.

After all, these aren't vehicles, at least around here, that you see hundreds of them on the road every day, like you do with the Corollas et al. Of course, the closest Lexus dealers for me are over 300 miles away in Boise ID and Spokane WA so I may be an anomaly in that regard...

They carry the FCS at RockAuto I think but they are never in stock, so I assumed it was just a mistake and they don't actually make them for the RX.

Keep us posted as I have to look into refreshing the suspension components.

I noticed the rear is sagging lower on the right hand side and confirmed it with measurement.
I guess one side of the spring is no longer at full height due to the heavy stuff my dad put inside.

I just noticed that in my first post I said they were $130/pair. Sorry, that should have been $130/ea or $240/pr
