Start by checking coolant level.

Engine cold and and radiator cold to touch. Uncap the radiator and peer inside. Coolant should be all the way up.

If hot coolant is making it from the core inlet to the outlet it would seem to imply the core isn't clogged.

When you say "No heat" is there good air flow?
Is the air mix servo actuating the damper?

Once the servo has been removed you can manually move the damper. Just make sure when you reattach the servo arm matches the damper position. (write down the current position).
