Thumbs up Goodbye & Thank you

I traded off my RX 300. Missed it when driving home with the car I traded, for the ride and comfort the RX provided. The guy I traded with got one nice ride.

I just wanted to thank everyone for all the info and help you gave me while I owned my RX. Your combined knowledge saved me tons of time and no doubt lots of money.

Thank you thank you thank you.

Alan

A Corvette of all things lol. 40th Anniversary model in super nice condition. It gets better gas mileage than the RX did lol.

Never owned a Corvette before, my daughter just went to college Monday, I am divorced, so why not have some fun.

And thanks again for all the info. You guys really did help me out tons, got lots of info from the archives and if I couldn't find anything I would ask and everyone was very helpful.

This a great Forum and I hope the Corvette Forum I will be going to is as helpful and kind as everyone here.

Corvettes are sweet cars. I so miss mine. I had a 2004 C5 Z06 pushing close to 800 rwhp, but had to comprise a 4 door SUV for it. I love my RX though, but i miss the power the Vette produced

G'luck and come visit.

I'm in the boat as the OP on "contingent" good bye on my car. I think I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on the 13 450H. but we'll see. the oldie is still running well.

I'm getting the point of trade in time on my 2001 RX too.

It's old and all the old parts are starting to come due in terms of maintenance from wear and tear.

I don't mind fixing things because it's cheaper cost of ownership in the long run but I have such limited time to be messing around with driving out to the dealership these days. I think it's time for something 2 or 3 years old that will hopefully run for a while before I have to start taking it in to the shop. A 2013 RX 350 is sounding pretty good.

I'll be adding a 2013 or newer CPO RX350 to my fleet sometime after January 2016. Won't be replacing the RX300 though, it's still running like a champ!

Yes, after 14 yrs of ownership, we too have sold our '01 RX-300. My wife misses it tremendously!
At least we sold it to a family member, my wife's sister who coincidentally, lives in Las Vegas.
15 NY State winters is enough and the RX will still have some long life living in Nevada!

Good luck with your 40th anniversary Vette!
