Default New member saying hi

I've been around Club Lexus a month before I bought my 2001 Rx300. I should have check it thoroughly, but what can I do I'm not expert and my budget very tight... I have to spend 1K more if I want a more decent one, and I already paid 14K for this one. Car's price in my country is very expensive.

Here're some photos...

The underside is a bit rust because my car is from Wiscosin.

Oh Battambang is a province, it's a nice calm place to live in... Currently I'm in a crowded city, but I'm moving there soon.

I still fixing the car; it's now average 10.5mpg / 7.5 mph.

Todo list:

- Clean IACV ............................................ done
- Change B2S1 sensor ........................... done
- Canister VSV
- Change all tires and align
- Fix oil leak cos of full synthetic use

hmmm.... lots of thing to do, but I enjoy it.

Both these numbers indicate you are idling a lot. The average plummets with '0' miles.

do read the owner's manual. Link to a soft copy is in one of our sticky threads.

Thank you all for your advises. For the owner's manual, I can't find it anywhere in sticky, but I can get it on lexus's site... so I download them and combined them all in one file. Sure, I always browse DIY and search before posting any problem. I hope everyone here will hold the 300 as long as possible, I'm afraid you guys move away

Welcome to club lexus and enjoy your stay here! you will find plenty of helpful advice, guidelines, etc. here from people who have been around the block with the rx a time or 2 or 3. And with proper maintenance and repairs your rx should serve you well.

Yeah I can see some people here own it multiple times, the RX must have something very special.

Thank you for your comment, at first I'm a bit sad because the bottom has a bit rust and is not as clean as my last Highlander, but I paid this car less than I paid for HL.

I was hesitate about the color... I'm between white gold and this gold, I still love white though... but whenever I look at this color, I immediately fall back. I guess this is human, it's never enough. Well, I used to own 2 black and 1 silver car.
