Retrofit Highlander parts to RX300 to improve turning circle?
I've done a search in this forum for the turning circle issue on the RX300 and one idea seems to be worth a look: If the Toyota Highlander is a virtual RX300 clone, (but with a turning circle four feet less than the RX300), would it not be possible to find what the differences are between the two and retrofit Highlander parts to the RX300?
It appears as though there would be enough room for additional wheel movement in the wheel well--I wonder why Lexus decided to leave the RX300 in its original configuration? (perhaps we are supposed to go out and buy an RX330?)
This could be a lucrative sideline business for a ClubLexus member--kitting upgrade parts to improve the turning circle. That four feet would mean a big difference--I can barely do a U-Turn in a wide three lane road.

All the power to you.
Many places will not touch this due to liability concerns.
The turning diameter is close to 30' for RX .. I measured the tracks ... they are again not in a perfect circle ... 2 outer tires . So the turning radius is bad but not THAT bad.
Give it a serious thought ... is it worth shaving the 2 - 4ft.
