Default Stolen sun visors

Hi everyone,

Someone stole the two sun visors from my 2001 RX300. Do any of you know if the IS300 sun visors will fit the connectors and the screws in my RX300?

Stolen sun visors? You've got to be kidding! I would head to the Lexus dealer, explain your situation, and check the measurements in an IS on their lot. In case the parts are actually the same, check one of the online vendors to see if the part numbers are the same.

That's probably the best bid. One online vendor had different part numbers for the IS, but the connections and everything else looked like it would work... I'll stop by a dealership and ask them. Thanks bud.

Any reason you don't look for RX sun visor but IS instead?

The IS300 visors are cheaper than the RX300 visors on ebay. They also have the garage door openers on them, like the RX300 ones.

I had to buy a pair for the RX one time; seems to me it was about $100 for two nice used ones on eBay.

If the new IS sun visor fits, get it. The RX300 sun visors were notorious for "flopping" down with wear. New ones (if you can find them) run around $750 (each)! Used ones will undoubtedly "flop" also (which is probably why the sellers are selling them)!

Post back with your findings.

I was lucky and found "non-floppers."

I found one on ebay and ordered another from a junk yard. Ran me about $50 total. Both were clean and work just fine
