Default copied cd's

made a few copies of cd's but when they go into the cd player in the rx the cd number just blinks. after i made them, i played them in my computers and they worked fine. i then tried the original cd's in the cd player in the rx and they played fine. any ideas why copies won't work in my rx 300? i checked and rechecked to make sure the cd's were inserted correctly and not upside down
thanks

How did you copy them?

When I used to still use the CD player, I found that the best way to burn CD's that work without fail 100% of the time, is to make them in iTunes as an "Audio CD".

you probably made a data cd or it was in .wmv format. computers can read it because, well it's a computer and they can read most formats. but the RX can only read .mp3 files on an audio cd.

Did you close the disk? I find some incompatibility with legacy devices when the disk session is left open even when the content is correct CD audio.

I used to find that CD-R's worked better than CDR+W's, but I don't know why.

Most CD players/changers of this vintage won't play CD-RWs. Some early ones won't play CDRs as the CD/CDR technology is different. But mine plays CDRs just fine. You may be copying them incorrectly, as stated above.
