New here and thought maybe you fine people might be able to offer some insight into the problems I am having. My Rx has 170,000 miles on it. I have replaced 3 or 4 coils, The front O2 sensor, the spark plugs and the sensor in the breather with the little match looking deal in it.
my car is running absolutely horrible, no power, CEL is on and flashes on occasion, gets horrendous fuel mileage, will not shift into OD and seems to have an extreme loss of power. When I code it, the display reads random misfire ( I don't remember the exact numbers) and nothing else...I am at my witts end and have no idea where to turn next. I am thinking that the cats may be plugged up but I wanted to check with some major Lexus enthusiasts before dropping 5 bills on new ones. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated and accepted. I looked for something similar in past threads and was unable to find anything, So if I have posted in the wrong area I apologize. Thanks Aaron

Ok i just have a few questions for you did the maf sensor you replaced (the match looking thing) was it the denso oem part, and were the coils oem denso and not china crap (just a very simular event) ok one day i orderd a maf sensor and paid 30$ for it coming from a usa seller originally bought from china when i got it, it did not have any markings so i installed it and my CEL light came on my gas mileage was terrible about 8mpg and my rx300 went into (limp mode) and i could not exceed 20mph so when i finally made it home i took the oem denso maf sensor that my dad had for his toyota es300 (mail man had delivered his package that evening) swapped it in and i was GOLD!! CEL came off mpg went back to 18mpg and i coukd easily go 75mph
