THe sludge issue has surfaced when the maintenance has not been perfect. Some have had luck with a product called AUTO RX. Google it. It apparently has a muti step application, but many have cleaned their engines of sludge. We like to see codes on this site, and you are in great hands on this site as there are a lot of active helpers.

Welcome to CL ... although your post here is your 3rd post.
I understand you are going through difficult times, but such is life and all of us are not dealt an even hand. Still, the little tings make it wonderful and hope for betterment keeps us going on. I personally think that once other things in your life level off, you can then apply your skills to diagnose and repair your wife's RX. In the balancing act, you wife may prefer getting rid of RX vs fixing it.
So here in CL, we can help steer your thinking.
Condition:
Fluids and recovery. Thomas1 gave you advice on gel.
Diagnosis:
We need the first codes after clearing them.
Bogging down:
Suspect is OCV ... clean the screens
Keep the faith.
