Fellow-up "help no oil flow"
I think I have a major problem fixed cause of loss of oil flow. But while driving car testing it out loud knocking and grinding sound from engine. Car started losing power now I am afraid that my engine is toast. What is a good source for replacement engine? What do guys think of selling car to part out?? Trying to see what options I might have cause I don't have the money to fix till next month and not sure I want to sink any more money in car

how much do you have in the car? it might be worth it to just donate it as a tax deduction and buying another 1st gen RX if its what you really want.
another 1st gen RX usually goes from 5k to 6.5k

Well I bought the car 7 years ago for 15k but I have had to drop money in 2 transmission rebuilds. Car has 235000 on but much about car is good. Not sure if I want another but wouldn't rule it out wife has enjoyed the car minus the problems. Donation may my best route however won't help me now but next year

There are a few options, but you need to get a better information on repairs, if that is one of the options. You did not mention miles or the current condition of the vehicle in this thread. That would be a major factor too. You need to be realistic about the value of the vehicle once all repairs are done.
To keep:
Is it rebuilding the head or the problem is with the cylinders and the crank-shaft too. Rebuilding the head would be the easiest and cheapest option.
Full overhaul
Check with Sewel as they have engines.
Buying a used engine .. crap shoot.
To part out:
This would be the way to get max $s but would require patience, dealing with number of individuals, wrenching the parts out and dealing with the carcass (as it gets parted and when you have it hauled off).
Sell/donate as is:
Least $s and most convenient.

From possible oil starvation, its more likely the crank and rod bearings are gone rather than damage to the heads. Not worth doing a rebuild.
If you are technical enough to swap an engine, there are lots of recyclers via car-part.com and ebay.
They can be relatively cheap along with your damaged core engine.
