RX300 Android Install
I relocated the original data display to the center console. though the glove compartment was an option as well.
there was interest in the tablet i used in the install, and how I installed it so below are the instructions. Hope it works for you.

Directions: I removed the existing 5" screen (as its still needed) and relocated it to the center console. I extended the wire harness under the carpet to the rear of the center console and ran the wires under the console and through the back of the drawer (note back of console comes off). I then mounted the Android tablet using the existing mounting holes and some muffler strapping (you can use anything that will hold it securely in place though I don't suggest gluing it as you may wan to remove it to add music to the SD card lol) O installed the inline Aux adapter in the glove compartment and connected it to the existing CD harness. I then ran a 3.5 mm male to male plug from the Aux adapter to the tablet. set tablet to max and control sound from the OEM radio ****.to supply constant power I used a Cig Lighter 12v aux and an old phone plug with the appropriate end. I sliced the 12v CL into the constant on in the wire harness and plugged the phone adapter in and tapped that whole thing up with electrical tape so it wouldn't slip out due to vibration .

Cool thanks, I started on CL as a guest, just to get some Ideas, all were great but more intrusive than I wanted to get, as I wanted it to LOOK as stock a possible on the surface.
