Ok, my rx has this indicator on non stop. Ive checked all my bulbs and fuses. Theyre all good and in working order. I also disconnected neg terminal on battery etc...goes away until i turn the headlights on. All headlight bulbs are good also. Also, in my tail lights, when lights are on, rightnside inner tail light isnt illuminated until brakes are depressed, but when brakes are depresses, the left side outer doesnt illuminate, but it does illuminate when brakes arent depressed...anyone have any insight? Thanks!!

is the upper brake light out? this would be the one at the top of the back window. I had an issue with the light out indicator on the dash but didn't realize it at first. As for the issue in the last sentence, I am not sure of a cause of solution.

Nope, third brake light is also working...im scratching my head on thos one...thanks for the feedback bro

I am also having the same issue with my '01 RX. The previous owner, for whatever reason, removed the trim panel from the rear hatch and told me that the light out indicator was on because of this. All my lights work, and the only issue with the car is that one indicator light and missing trim panel that nobody ever notices.

Guys this thread is going in circles. There are two different issues all being mixed up .. 'tail light" and 'brake light'.

1. Please read the owners manual and verify the exact problem.
2. Do a search with the real issues.
