18" wheels - rear strut concerns

I'm looking for chrome wheels for my 2001 AWD. Several sites I have been on cite warnings regarding rear struts posing interference on larger size (wider) tires.

Anyone encounter this? Is there any problem putting 235/60/18's on my Lex? Thanks..

Oh - I think the offset on our OEMs are +35, correct?
