Unhappy Help help please

I had my alternator replaced , got my Lexus 300RX back and now when I go 60 MPH she stay's at 4 RPM's can anyone help, mechanic saying I need a new computer ????,, I'v read that there's a chance that a faulty alternator can be the cause please help

Is your check engine light on? Sounds like it is locked out of overdrive. Is the button that puts it into overdrive pushed in?

Yes, eng light is and has been on. I found out that's related too sensor 1 bank 2
I figured out what the RPM problem is, my knock sensors are bad but now I
Have 2 mechanics telling me no that would not cause it, go on google and you read there related all day long

Opions needed

As I have not fixed the NOC sensors yet

The knock sensors will lock it out of over drive for sure, B1S2 will not.

Can you please list all the codes you are getting and if there are multiple codes, see if you can reset and have it read again (and post them here). At times it is better to mentally reset and not follow the trail that you are on.
