Default license plate radar deflector?

Hi guys,
I was wondering does anybody know where to purchase a license plate radar deflector? I saw it on an M3 while walking. I looked at the rear license plate and I could see the numbers at an angle. But if I look directly at it, it's fine. Could this possible be a deflector for those stop light cameras and police radar detector? I want to get one for the front license plate so I can fly by those camera stop lights.

Any links much appreciated.

Thanks...

I have a friend who lives in the U.K. with a new Lexus RX300 SE. He and I have talked about these, and he remembers seeing a BBC documentary that the newer cameras can still pick off your numbers. Do not know about radar evading license plates, but jammers are more common and only illegal in about 4 or 5 states from my memory.

LexMexico,
Thanks. I have a clear cover for my front license plate now. It just looks so much better with that reflective thing that M3 has. I just have to becareful in running those yellow lights before they turn red.

Thanks,

I thought eBay might have something... Oh wells....

can't you duck or cover your face so they don't get that on camera? I think around here, if they don't have a positive ID on the driver, they can't ticket anyone.
speaking of which, my dad's friend in japan has a PIMPING mercedes. Japan has these radar detectors for speeding, accompanied by those cameras, on these overhangs on the highway. so if you speed, the camera gets you. Well the guy has a radar detector hooked up to a few special bulbs next to the license plates. First, his detectors detects the radar signal from the highway. then, right at the instant where the pic is supposed to be taken of his plates, the bulbs flash back REALLY bright so the camera doesn't get a shot of the plates at all. pretty neat and very bad, ay?

Traffic courts are funny things, and the burden of proof is not the same thing, since in many cases it is an administrative court. In Washington, D.C., they require you then to prove that you were not driving the car (instead of them) at the time.

What my friend in the UK added to me is that they know all about these plates, and they have a heat sensing camera to pick up the outline of the numbers/letters.
