Default Brake pulse no ABS light

I've done a few searches so far and read a couple scary things like usual.... My rx for about a year maybe has had a pulse in the brakes when your coming to a full stop. I've now replaced all rotors, two calipers, and all pads, and I still have this pulsing...I dont have a ABS light on my dash, but I do know it isn't burnt out because it's there when I turn the key..... Car seems to brake fine... But it's noticeable when breaking and kinda scary for my wife driving my truck....

Where to next? Abs sensors? Thing in axle that's $600???

Its not your ABS sensors for sure. Do you have a real mechanic or are you just throwing parts at it? Where and when exactly do you feel the pulsing? in the pedal or the floor, seat, and or body?

Yes I have a real mechanic.... The brakes needed replacing as the calipers seized... It seems to pulse between 40-20km. Pulse is thru the pedal. And I can reproduce the pulse easily by lightly applying brakes while slowing down at about 30km. It stops once the car slows to 20km or less. It seems

The reason i asked is becasue a tech should be able to figure it rather easily as long as he has a lift to work from. The only thing it could be after the rotors is worn/loose suspension components or a slightly bent rim. Lift vehicle and shake each tire top and bottom and side to side feeling for excessive play. Then spin each tire and get in front of it and then side angle and carefully look for any slight wooble. The problem is most likely in the front instead of the rear. If you dont feel anything loose in the suspension you can also rotate your tires and test drive. that can also help eliminate a tire as the culprit..

When i was a Honda tech. I never saw this problem go through the shop. But, i have heard chatter about some Toyota/Lexus ABS systems malfunctioning and causing some brake pulsations. Try disabling your ABS and test driving it just to be sure.

i can for certain say its not the rims, since ive switched between two different alloys between the summer lexus and the winter toyota rims..... we have checked suspension many times...
Im sure its an ABS problem... 99% of the time i come on this forum and the issue has been had by someone over the 13years these have been on the road...

Where is lexmex...LOL

well like i said, if its the ABS, just disable it and if the problem goes away then you have isolated the problem.

+1, pull the ABS fuse or pull the cable under the hood going to the ABS unit and see if the problem persists or goes away.

Cool brake pulsation no abs light

well hyper and bob are both right your problem is with your abs remove abs relay from underhood and abs light will come on but drive vehicle and pulsation should stop if it does then here is your real challenge that is finding out which sensor is giving the bad reading your problem is more likely going to be a broken reluctor ring on one of your axles i would start buy checking the rears first through my experience it keeps being the left rear but it could be either one inspect for a broken or really rusted or dirty ring that is what the sensor reads for a signal
