New Guy Here- 99 rx black, grey leather
Hello All , just purchased my 99 off craigslist 4 days ago. took it to my mechanic and he said buy it ! Sez drivable with minimal cost for 4-5 yrs. bullet proof engine.
The Good :168k, new transmission 35k ago - still under warr., new brakes all the way around less then a yr., new tires (4) 6mos. ago, no dents, paint ok. Glass all good. all interior systems working.
The Bad : oil leak, mechanic sez not the expensive one - already slowed down considerably since proper oil has been put in. driver side seat leather starting to seperate seems repairable at this point - need to do it soon before full blown tears. bumper paint needs attention.
to me thats a lot of value for 48 hundred. I drive through the treacherous N. Nv.Washoe Valley
(backside of lake tahoe) daily for work and heavy all wheel drive vehicles are valued.
so here I am ready to pick off my rx problems one at a time and maintain it properly with your help and share my experience with others.
Thanks for being here !

I'm glad to hear the transmission has already been replaced, so you don't have to worry about it failing. But, I suggest you still change the ATF every 15k miles.
