Tires, tires, and tires.

JBL-1985 : One thing of note is that these tires have caused my mileage to suffer by a good 2-3 mpg's when compared to the Michelins that came with the car, which I got 30k out of. Not sure I would buy the Bridgestones again for this reason. Otherwise, everthing else about them is good, ride, handling, etc.
Funny you should say that. I had the same experience. The Alenza is a very good tire and I did get around 65k miles, but I did notice a 1-2mile mpg drop with them. They are a hard tire, but a heavy tire. I wonder if that had anything to do with it. The engine is trying to push a 33 lbs (or so) tire around vs a 28 lb time.
