Default Possible transmission problem with my 2003 RX300

When driving my RX300 the transmission seems to shutter when decelerating some of the time.... Like when pulling up to a stop when coming down from highway speeds... It doesn't do it all the time. Any suggestions are most appriciated.

Have you drained/refilled the ATF lately? What is the service history?

Transmission was serviced about 10,000 miles ago. Fluid is full and clean looking.

What fluid was used?

What exactly do you mean by it stuttered? It sounds like you are talking about the downshift from 2-1.

I suggest resetting the ECU, by pulling the battery cables for 15 minutes. This will make the ECU re-learn your driving habits, and possibly get rid of the "stutter".
