I personally wouldn't put the LED lights in the front bumper. There is already very little air flow on the passenger side for the transmission cooler because of the windshield washer reservoir. I wouldn't want to make it worse.

But, it does look cool, I'll give you that!

Thanks for the tip but i removed the factory cooler and installed a larger aftermarket one up front.

Some pics of my " 01 AWD 39k " RX

Just got this cream puff at the dealer
New T/B and water pump
New battery
Oil change
A/T drain and fill
Differental and transfer case service
All belts changed
Cabin , air filter, rear trunk Strut and wipers all changed


I might have a bad Air Mix servo I got to replace though

Damn, looks like new, 39k on a 2001? I thought ours had low mileage being under 140k, lol.

Yea, having the typical problems here with the ventilation servos.. same with the door lock motors too.. Trying to decide if worth the time/$ to fix

I actually bought the 300 for my wife and she actually like
the 1st generation more .

The old RX 300 surprisingly hold their value very well
We looked at the MDX and RDX but came back to the 300

Few pictures of my baby last year, having fun in the snow and whatnot I got 182k on it now as it was a daily, now she rests a few times a week, only taking this marvelous Rx out this winter, the AWD is amazing!
