Fuel Injector Cleaners... Anybody use 'em?
Just used SynPower from Valvoline in my last tank of gas... Anybody else used a fuel injector cleaner?
I've noticed a bit better throttle response after the cleaning as my RX has 36K miles on it now.... A very subtle difference, but probably worth the $10 I paid for the stuff.

Here's a thread from Autopia:

Based on this and on price (2 for $10 special), I recently used Duralube Fuel System Cleaner as I passsd 10K miles and I have another bottle for later. I was having no problems before this application and was just using it as a maintenance item. I've always poured in a bottle of some cleaner at every 10K.
Many people on this forum swear by Chevron Techron products.
Keeping your fuel system clean is always a good idea.
Just follow the directions as printed on the bottle.

Ya I used a NOS version of the cleaner a few months ago. Yes, I said NOS, they do make other products than nitrous. Anyways I noticed improved response time from the time I floor it to the time the engine actually kicks in and goes. Mine was $6 for a can.

Follow the mixing directions carefully. I put too much in my van and caused the glue holding the injectors together to melt and dissolve- causing a leakage. This was the forensic analysis of Russ Collins himself of RC Engineering in Torrance, CA. They see a lot of these being brought in their shop.
Other than that, it's good stuff.
