try putting the rear wheels on the front just in case...

If that doesn't work find an alignment shop that has more modern equipment.

And if that doesn't work....

Dismount the tires from the rims, do the alignment work, and then remount the tires...

That's the first time I have ever heard of that........It definitely can be done even with your "rim protector"....My advice would be to find a more modern alignment shop

Good Luck!

have you gotten all 4 of your tires balanced??? if it was an alignment problem you would notice more of a pulling effect rather than a vibrating effect.

if the balance does not take care of it, check to make sure the tire isn't out of round. i had to replace one of my scorpion zero pirelli's because it was deffective. it had a bad cord wich gave it a hop. you could see it when it was on the balancing machine.

now if it isn't either one of those i would check the rim with the tires off to make sure you didn't get blemished wheels......out of round or dented.

next check your spacers........then go for an alignment last. you want to make sure you have all these checked and in good order BEFORE you get an alignment. it is a MUST to get your camber corrected (4 way alignment) if you lower your vehichle.........you have changed the geometry of your suspension and need to get it corrected. otherwise the top of your tire/wheel will lean in towards the car and put more force/weight on the inboard part of your tires causing them to wear out quicker.

do it in that order and you will come out alright

Thanx Shonuff, however, as I remember this guy told me yesterday that our car do not have a camber to correct, is that correct?

some vehichles do not have a built in camber adjustment.............such as acura integras, honda civic, etc. but they do sell kits to correct the camber on them. i am not too sure how this would be done on the rx, but there has got to be a way to do it.

it might not be so bad if you are only lowering the rx an inch or less.............but i am not real sure. just be sure to watch the inboard treads on your tires. this is where the tires will tend to get eaten up faster when you lower a vehichle and do not correct the camber.

Default Problem Solved

Hey guys, thanx for all your inputs and I have finally solved my problem. YOU GUYS ARE ALL CORRECT, the balancing of the tires are not done correctly for the first 2 times. I bought my car into a Tire&Wheel shop today and ask them to balance the tires for me. I told him the steering wheel was shaking like hell. Then when they took off the wheel, the guy who also own a Lexus RX300 (his mom's) told me that the wheel is unbalanced already and then he looked at my rim. He told me that some rims are harder to get the tires balanced due to it's shape inside, etc. For my rim, it's harder. However, he knew what he was doing and fixed my problem. Thanx you again.
