Default What did you do to your RX300 today?

I figured I'd make this thread, as I've seen it on many forums in the past, and it's kind of fun to post about crap you did to the RX.

Today, I changed the engine oil, changed the sensor after the catalytic converter, and attempted to clean the throttle body but didn't finish as I uncovered something odd. I also checked the air pressure all the way around, and ordered two kyb's struts, and two OEM strut mount's for the rear.

*mod's*- is it possible to make this a sticky if it get's many posts?

Default Changed Transmission filter and fluid!!!!

Ran into difficulties opening the Differential drain plug. I guess the only thing i needed was additional torque. I got that from the hollow handle of my car jack handle :-)
On using the long handle the drain plug opened very easily.
The car shifts like new and hope to get a lot many more miles without any major issues.

THANKS TO THE DIY IN THIS FORUM
Time taken: 6-7 hours, majority of time spent in trying different tools to open the drain plugs
Next time i can do it in an hour.

Left the RX in the garage and drove the Tundra today.
Gazootech, Yes. Change from the outside. Wheel well liner has to be partially removed.

girlfriends sister opened the back passengers door and smashed my friends 2009 vw jetta's driver mirror as he was pulling up to park next to me. door's okay with only a small paint chip on the inside and fold of the door. could've been a lot worse
