This question is different than the others i have seen on here.

I have a 1999 RX300. I have followed the directions posted here. However, my car will not go into programming mode for the keyless entry. hence, cannot push both buttons at same time cause never get that far in the process. Car starts, but does not operate the locks etc.

I have repeated the steps several times of lock/unlock 5x, close door open door, then insert key etc. Car will not go into program mode, so never get to press both buttons simultaneously.

Any help on how to get to program mode? Is there a reset process of some type? Again, key starts the car and operates the locks etc no problem. Just cannot get keyless entry fob to work cause car just will not go into program mode. I need help!
