Default When Searching for Parts 1MZFE

When im looking for parts it seems harder to find them for rx.. Ive read that the engine in our first gen rx is the 1MZFE..... so when im on ebay and i dont find an VSV for rx300.. but i see lots for camrys and es300 with 1MZFE engines... .are these parts the same??? logic says yes.. but im still not sure... i cant even seem to find highlander ones..

Yes, the engines are the same. There may be a couple of very minor differences, by virtue of the installation, but not many.

There are some differences. I know when I used a Camry ignition coil once in Mexico until I could get a Lexus replacement, the coils were different in part number and design. Generally, something like a Toyota Highlander 1MZFE (6 cylinder) has the most similar engine parts.

What I will usually do is go to Denso and look up the actual part numbers and compare them across Toyota/Lexus models to see if they are similar.
