i just purchased a 2001 Lexus RX300 Silversport and it has the keyless entry but it will only let me unlock the drivers door from the botton and rarely does it let me unlock all doors. i have a 2006 GX470 with the same key and it does it just fine. is anyone else having a problem with their keyless entry????

If you can release all other locks by the electronic button (inside the cabin) then I think it is a Cbest option. You may try unlocking twice (in rapid succession) form the key remote.

Depending on model year, you can change the Cbest settings (see the owners manual) or have the dealer set them up. You may have to pay for dealer labor rates to change the setting.

If the inside un-lock switch does not work then use the search the term "lock actuator".

it only unlocks all of the doors when i press the button hard a first time then wait a second then try again. but this only works every other time. i think that the keyless entry is just worn down. thanks for the reply

Believe it or not, I actually fixed one that was having that problem by putting a small spacer in the remote OVER the inside button, under the outer button that you push. It worked fine after that.
