Default Are FWD and AWD suspension the same?

I was looking to getting a set of lowering springs for my RX but it didn't specify if they were for the FWD or AWD. I know the rear shock absorbers are different, but does anyone know here if FWD and AWD can use the same springs?

ANSWER: Just finished installing Tein S.Tech springs which supposedly is for FWD only but they fit just fine. So Yes, they are interchangeable

from what I've found the springs between the FW and AWD are interchangeable, is anyone here able to confirm this?

I'm not sure about the springs, but I believe they are the same. And, yes the actual rear strut is different.

Ya its really weird. Tein says their springs are only for the FWD but H&R and Eibach says they work for both and a few other JDM brands.

Thats because you already picked MCU10 (FWD) if you pick MCU15 (AWD) you will see the spring are different numbers, but thats doesnt mean they aren't interchangeable. Maybe different spring rates. Take for example, the the front suspension are all interchangeable regardless of FWD or AWD or year, yet all the part number are different. Grrr so frustrating. I'll most likely import a JDM brand for a decent drop such as Espelir or Tanabe DF210 (not available in NA)

When you are on the vehicle selection page you can choose 10 or 15

North America > 2001 > Lexus > RX300 > MCU10 or MCU15

has anyone here with AWD lowered their RX? if so what suspension are you guys using because all I can find is for FWD. But I'm pretty sure both springs are interchageable.
