my wife just called me, someone stole both side mirror glasses on our 99 RX300, the mirror glass only !!!
the left the mirror housing, plates plugs along.

my RX has the heated mirrors, so does it came with the auto dim?

I went check ebay, there are two types glass, w/o dim..
besides ebay, any website I can order the glass as well

please let me know

Did you report it to the police? If your insurance deductible is low it may be worth telling the insurance company as well.

I'm not sure about the '99 model, but on the 2002 RX300 you can tell if there is auto-dim by looking for a green LED and switch on the center rearview mirror. The green LED indicates the auto-dim is activated and the switch turns it on and off.

There are numerous Lexus dealers that have discount mailorder operations. Several are sponsors of this forum. Since you live in New York State, there is also irontoad.com, which is in Pennsylvania. They typically only list common parts on their web site and you can telephone them (or e-mail them) to order the less common items. I usually just telephone. The interaction of a telephone conversation is very useful.

I checked the ebay, someone selling the mirrors can work with heated function but not the auto dim.
