The lowest I was quoted on a timing belt/water pump change was $600 from a small garage. Basically the parts are $200 and about 5 hours of shop time. This shop charges $80/hr. Another independent Toyota shop quoted me around $750. Timing belt kits can be found on Partsgeek.com below.
Thanks, I saw that thread when I did a search, but honestly I don't seen that much info there.
The 3rd post quoted around 400..adding spark plugs would probably add another 200 for 1hr to 1 1/2 hr book time.. all depending on your area's labor rate.
My area in NJ i would estimate between 800-900 for the job.
