Default Exhaust tip (Show me some Love)

Nobody has responded for 2 days, , Did I offend anyone on this board, I don't stink I showered before I posted, come one guys share the knowledge

sprintee, mrsypher, anybody, Give a brother some 411

Can anybody recommend a decent Exhaust tip for the OEM Muffler on the RX, I am awaiting the delivery of some Mods (Euro style Chrome A Bar and the 2001 Rear lights) and would like to get a nice Chrome exhaust tip to go with my new toys. You guys have been extremely helpful in finding all these cool things for my truck. I got a 2000 Silver which I am going to give the Silver Sport look too.

Dprosa,

Sorry we haven't responded... we do love you though, don't get the wrong idea...

Anyways, I have installed a chrome exhaust tip, which I think fits very nicely with the stock muffler.

Here's the shop where I get it from:

http://www.autonetperformance.com/lexus/Parts/RX300.htm

Here's the picture from that shop. Give them a call, it's very nice looking...

That's what I talking about, good looking out Hleo 1,

it looks pretty sweet but a bit pricey for just an exhaust tip, I am a bit of a cheap basta**(or so that is what the wife tells me). thanks for the info though, if I don't find anything else I might go wit that
Have a great weekend

sorry dprosa... been busy last couple of days... finals...

but yea, the one Hleo showed you is pretty good... but if you think its too expensive just get some univeral one and go to a muffler shop to cut off the bended edge and pop on the new one?

that should work

dprosa, I just don't like you...J/K!

Have you checked the selection at your local Advanced Auto Parts or AutoZone? They'll have some tips that mount similar to the one helo1 showed you.

personally I like the look of an "oversized" muffler tip, so I bought one of the SUV chrome tips at Western Auto/Advanced Auto parts... I know pep boys carrys them too... Anyways, the tip fits right over the curved black tip that comes stock, so all you do is slide it on, tighted the bolts, and cruise in style. I think I paid $30 for it and I like the look of it better than the curved one (this one is a straight tube).

If you happen to know anyone in japan or taiwan etc you could get it for around $9. I went to taiwan recently and I ordered one at a lexus dealer. so you can get it cheaper than $30

i tried to get a wood trimmed shift *** and steering wheel but they said they couldnt sell me those????? weird.
