I had heard (from my Dealer) that they expect the "new Rx" to be available earlier - more like April 2003 and yes it will be a 2004 model.

I am #1 on the "list" when it arrives.

Unless of course I get a GX first!

just a note to a comment what someone said about bmw's and bad repair history. 2001 X5 4.4i fully loaded with sport/premium/cold packages ... never had a problem...nor has the new 745i although it only shifts upwards fromt he steering wheel and not down, but mechanically running smooth and so is the m3 ... bmw's run great
you'll love the x5 man! but it will set you back a pretty penny.

ok, good, all good info, thanks. but the lease numbers came in, and ive decided to go with a fully loaded 2002 rx, black on black with chrome rims and navigation. theres only one problem, a big but...... lol. they dont have one in the showroom. and dont know if they will be getting any soon. so i only have 3 months at the most. till i need a new car to go back to college. sooo if they dont have that truck or even a nice back one without nav, at the end of 3 months im screwed. i could end up with whatever they got. like a stripped out purple or red one. lol. the only other decision i have is to jsut get the black on black with chrome rims and no nav that they have now in the dealership. HMMMMMMM..... what to do?

My buddy just picked up a black/black w/NAV for a great price at Difeo Lexus in Bound Brook, NJ (ask for Joe). I live in Mnahattan and buy from Difeo because the service is WAY better - so if you don't mind a short road trip...they may be able to help you out. I think they had others last week when we were there.

IMO the X5 is not worth the $10,000 price over the RX300, and that is with a V6.

I will call Joe at Difeo Lexus today. In case you're interested Difeo is located on Route 22 in Bound Brook which is near Somerville, Bridgewater, I-287 etc. It is about a 40 ride West out of NYC.

I'll let you know what I find out.

Talked to Joe at Difeo and they were doing an "allocation report" - whatever that means. Basically he is pretty sure they have/can get B/B with NAV so I would just call him directly and tell him "Knicksfan" says hi.

thanks nicksfan. ill check that out. also my salesman got back to me today and found two rx's with nav, the colors are..... dark blue with beigh inte, or silver vapor blue with back, the vapor blue sounds sweet but ill stick it out till the black on black.

DJ if your going to do an "02," why not do a triple black Coach with Navi?

My bad I forgot that the Coach Edition is Graphite- with the only interior option being Ivory. Put that one back in the crate

YEA COACH EDITION IS NICE, BUT I WANT THE CHROME RIMS AND DIDNT WANT TO PAY ANY MORE FOR THE RX, IF ID PAY ANYMORE, ID RATHER GET A BOXSTER. BUT ANWAY YEA IM WAITING FOR THE BLACK / BLACK WITH NAV.
ALSO. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS FOR AFTERMARKET PRODUCTS. WHAT I SHOULD GET FIRST. ALSO ANYONE KNOW ANY CHEAP PLACES. OR SOMEONE SELLING USED BRUSH GUARDS, GRILLS, ETC.
