Make SURE that they update the planetary gear set!! That is one of the earlier models 1999-2001 biggest down fall.

Well its been 30 days and the trans is very strong thanks to the boys at lextreme@lextreme.com for the high stall TC and Certified Transmissions

6287 Highway 85, Riverdale, GA 30274. for doing the install 3 day turn around! They even installed a larger trans cooler with the updated planetary! The Trans took 3days to settle in but its great now.. I took the truck camping and it took to the trails like a champ! my "jeep buddies" were shocked! the mud and was flying! lol Nothing to big but it was a great test for a new trans. It was fun. when there is a half inch of mud on the roof it was a good day! I love this truck!

damn. dealership is no help. because the work won't be done through them, they obviously won't tell who is the local rebuilder they go to.
