Default question about navigation screen

Does anyone know if you can make DVD movies play in your 2002 RX with nav?

I was wondering about that too! Some pics in the gallery have a TV in the Nav system.

Looks like you have fine taste! Love the vapor blue. It does not have the two-tone look. I just bought it 3 weeks agow!

I am getting a spoiler and tinting the front windows to match the rears at the dealer (tomorrow morningw! yeah). I am thinking about getting the cobra front guards, side step rails and 18" rims, but I don't know if I should spend the money because I am thinking about trading in for the GX coming out later this year!

There is a shop in Brooklyn, NY.
Do a search for Nav DVD for the
actual address.

It is not a cheap conversion and can only be done
at their shop!

I forgot how much I paid. It was about two years ago and I purchased other things at the same time, spoilers, wind deflectors, rear fill, etc. I bought them from a guy who runs the lexus-club website (not clublexus) I think his name is Masahide. Sometimes he goes by the name of LEO. He is in Japan and he flys here (Ca.) from time to time with his company. (Sun microsystems)
Visit their web site, they have the coolest things in Japan and they come out over there first
They had video in their rx300 in 1999!

Interesting question. My son had a Land Cruiser with what appears to be the same Denso Nav system. He is able to play DVD's when the vehicle is stopped and I can't . Has anyone looked into this?

TIA

The nav available in the Land Cruiser (same setup for the LX470) has a feature where you can watch DVD movies when the tranmission is in park. This is a factory feature of the LX/Land Cruiser nav. I believe you access the DVD in the front center console.
