Question 2003 RX300 P/S Leak

My 2003 RX300 has developed a power steering leak.

I would like to know:

1. What are the likely root causes?

2. How difficult is the repair?

3. Are parts available locally?

Thanks to all who respond!

First of all you need to tell us where the leak is?

The loop is.

reservoir -> pump -> [high pressure] steering system -> low pressure restrictor [low pressure] -> reservoir.

If it is in a hose or a fitment the repair is relatively simple.

Hopefully it is just an pump, or hose. The steering rack would be more work....
Funny you posted, I am looking at two different cars with power steering pump noise and debating on what to do (mother in law and my back up windstar) I am actually considering rebuilding the power steering pumps....
