You have to remove the black liner in the front wheel wells, remove the 2 nuts that hold the headlight in place, and pull the headlight out a few inches to get your hand in there.

I mean, if you have really thin arms and tiny long fingers, you can pull it off without removing the headlights, but you're bound to get a few scratches- it's a tight reach.
There's a screw at the top of the headlight, two nuts on the side, and the one attaching it to the thin grill in the center of the car, between the bumper and the hood.

But to remove the washer bottle, dont you have to remove the inner fender well cover? And for the drivers side, isn`t the battery in the way? why they ever made this like this,is way beyond me.

Just remove the inlet tube of the washer bottle. The tube is just a insert into the bottle with some rubber seal. Maybe my diehard battery is smaller than yours? The space is tight, but I made the change a couple of times.

it's 9006. i have average sized hands and do it without removing anything. just take the connecter off first and then pull the bulb out slowly. i have dropped the driver's side bulb a few tims but then just bang on the under-cover till the bulb falls and then just rub it with alcohol and go at it again. it's a tight squeeze but i don't think anyone should take the headlights out or even loosen them to be honest.
