I tried searching the forum first, but was unable to find an answer to my question. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm interested in purchasing a RX300 from a private seller, who claims it is preowned certified. Are these warranties transferrable? Also, if they are not transferrable is it possible to get a warranty through Lexus?

I don't think the "CPO" (certified pre-owned warranty) is transferrable. You may want to check with a dealer, or visit the website to verify.

After talking to Lexus I came back with the following information.

1. CPO is not transferrable.
2. You can not get a Lexus extended warranty if the car has over 36000 miles.
