Does anyone drive around with the luggage rack crossbars removed?

Which looks better? With or with out?

I removed them on my toyota 4runner and thought they looked better and also easier to wash the roof without them

i removed mine the first day i got the rx. didn't like the cluttered look up top. honestly.....how many people actually use them? less drag less wind noise.

I'd have no where to put my bike rack without it. I like the way it looks up top.

I told the dealer to take my off before delivery. For me they are useless, regardless of how it looks.

IMHO SUV's look like crap w/o them. I have never seen an RX w/o them, but i know that a few times i have seen some 4Runners (96-98 style) w/o them and they look like crap. My friends 94 Explorer Sport looked ok w/o one but then he added one (bad decision...another story) I have a Thule bike tray on the top of my 4Runner and it makes the car look a lot better.(esp. w/ the Thule fairing) If i were worried about how bad my roof rack looks on my RX, I would go and get a Thule basket rack, put a Thule fairing on it, and throw the sucker up there.

This is just my opinion and if I enraged anyone i am sorry. I wil ltry to post some pics of my 4Runner w/ the Thule tray and fairing if it is needed (b/c it would prolly look the same on the RX)

I just took mine off,shiet..it looks twice as nice now...much more streamlined.....

I want my mom to take them off. She never uses them and it make less wind noise. There are alot of RX's around here (oh thats so true) with out them and with out rear wings.
