Hi all,

I'm looking into acquiring a RX300 in the very near future (basically after the new '03 drops) and was wondering about the V6 in it.

What, if any, other Toyota/ Lexus models share this engine? And if it's related to anything else (i.e. Camry), does anyone know of any Supercharger information?

And what about suspension, are only Eibach springs available?

My girlfriend and I are used to driving tuned MkIV Supras and we are looking for some more utility and definitetly appreciate the Supra-inspired styling of the RX, but for us the 'S' in SUV is without a doubt very important. Our other consideration, the BMW X5, is quite a bit out of our affordability range. So I would really like to tune the 'Sport' end of the RX300 to be a little more satisfactory after driving the Supras for so long. We will not be going offroad at all, and are also questioning the inclusion of the roof rack.

The RX300 shares the same 3 liter V6 with the ES300 and I believe that would include the Camry V6 too. It is the identical engine in the Toyota Highlander V6. It is different from the GS and IS six-cylinder's which are inline-6's.
