This is where we think our culprit is, where the torque converter hooks on. And perhaps the torque converter itself.
The flywheel/drive plate is quite firm.
What we think happens is that the torque converter is loose and is banging around the sides of this area, just enough and wham, fluid pops out, too.

Ah, the flywheel/drive plate, this is what the torque converter hooks on to.
Notice my exhaust piping and no precat. Also note in the lower right the transfer case where the axle goes through.

Well, that might not be out of the realm of possibilites. This guy we are going to can make them. Keep in mind the truck was working just some noise in the torque converter area and fluid leaking. No CELs, but again not safe.
