I have been on ebay looking for clear side bumper markers but all i seem to find are rear clear side bumper markers. Are the front and back the same by meaning interchangeable? If they arent where can i find some front ones? thanks again

On a side note (and I know my home state of Florida won't check this), do any of you in states with safety inspections find that they check to see if these side bumper markers are properly functioning?

The reason I asked this is that when I used to live in DC, I don't recall they checked or this and my parent's Mercedes 190Es don't even have side markers. Plus, I want to remove them when I repaint the bumpers and get that nice smooth look like the Asian/Euro RX300s have.

are you just going to shave the bumper side marker off and put the toyota harrier style side marker on the fender?

I am actually going to do it like this, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:1...Harrier_01.jpg with no marker on the bumper. My uncle is going to put a piece of plastic in its place, bolt it in (he has a type of gun to do this) and then cover it with paste and then paint.
