Philly, how long is the power-train warranty I've lost track of that?

I get a loud buzzing sound when I put the key in and don't start the engine right away, that I have come to decide is normal - not sure if I ever asked dealer about it.

The warranty is 1 year for sure, but make sure Lexus writes that on you slip. It is usually in fine print on the back of the maintenance slips.

It should be listed in your warranty booklet. It is in mine, but I have a 1999 RX300. I thought is was 60k miles, but my wife is out and about.

They told me that because I was still under powertrain warranty (6 years or 75K) when the old tranny failed, my new transmission will have warranty only until the end of the powertrain which is until August 07

If I would replaced it at the time when I had no warranty and paid for it out of pocket I would have 1 year warranty on it...I don’t think it makes any sence

Can someone give me a 1800 number to the main Lexus office to call?
Thanks.
