Now at this point I would also recommend you remove that bracket that it was attached to, and this was the reason for the 12 mm wrench.

Now you should be left with this.

Right about this time, is when we had that beautiful ice and hail storm hit, just about as we were going to remove those rear plugs.

All right, there is another piece we also have to remove. On the left side of the intake manifold is the PCV valve and its accompanying hose.

First pull on the top of the hose. It attaches itself to to the intake manifold through a small horiztonal metal tube. Very easy to pull off (and actually to push back on). Then pull the PCV valve up.

You should then have the piece in your hand like this.

Let's take a look at the locations first of the rear ignition coils.

First the furthest right coil (this will actually be the most difficult, not the one in the center).

The rear, center ignition coil.

Finally, the left, rear ignition coil, just behind where the PCV valve is located.

Now, ready that 10mm wrench again. You will soon experience why it needs to be this small (keeping in mind I have a small hand, too).

Grip the 10 mm wrench as shown with most of the handle in the palm of your hand.

For the left and center plugs, reach with the 10 mm wrench around the side where the PCV valve is and turn each bolt on the ignition coil counterclockwise (this will not be too hard). Just take nice easy turns of 1 to 2 positions on the clock at a time (i.e., 3 o'clock to 1 o'clock position). Also try to think of a song like "Peaceful Easy Feeling" by the Eagles, it will make everything mellow.

Now with the far right bolt, attack it from the right side of the intake manifold (where you removed that bracket and cable). I found sticking it in there at 1 to 12 o' clock position was the easiest to be able to turn the handle to the 11 o'clock position.

Now you do not need the 10 mm wrench to unscrew the bolts all the way out. Just to unloosen them. Then you can get at each of them with your hands. (the left and center by going at them via the left side of the intake manifold and the right coil by the right side of the intake manifold). At the same time, very easy to grab the ignition coil and pull them out (remember the hardest part about the rear plugs is getting the plugs, not the coils or anything else).

OK, now you have all of the ignition coils off and now it is time to attack the plugs themselves. The direction of attack is the following. The left and center plugs should be attacked from the right side of the intake manifold and the right plug from between the right side of the intake manifold. Now we will explain the trick with the tools.
