Question Best Engine Flush???

I plan on changing my oil this weekend and would like to know if anyone has flushed their engine and what is the best engine flush. I use a synthetic oil Royal Purple 5w30 and am thinking of using AMS OIL ENGINE FLUSH. Does anyone recommend something different??

Thanks

I use an engine flush from Liqui Moly but I don't think it is commonly available in the U.S. as it here in Mexico.

I also recommend doing a search at http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/ on AMS.

Do a search on seafoam (one word or two??)

Are you trying to fix a problem or unecessarily creating a situation to create a problem?

I personally am againt using any flushing agent [just a personal viewpoint].

The rx has been getting a bit sluggish and one thing that I have noticed is that the oil looks darker and gets darker quicker after an oil change. I am thinking that a bit of sludge is building up so for grins this oil change I would like to flush the engine out drive 1,000 miles and change the oil filter. If the oil looks too dark replace the oil again also. I hear that after a flush the sludge that gets loosened up it is picked up by the oil filter and its a good idea to replace the oil filter after a while of doing a engine flush. If any of this is wrong feel free to correct me, not a car guy myself.

The thing I like about the Liqui Moly engine is you stick it in the oil for 10 minutes at idle and that is it. Personally, right after that, I would change both the oil and the filter. I would not drive it around anymore without the filter change. I have in fact done this a long time ago as an experiment and it felt more sluggish.

Salim's point should also be well taken. I use flush due to driving habits, modifications and climate.
