Does anyone ohave some pictures of the SilverSport that could be posted to show the differences?
Also does anyone know where you can buy Silver Sport Parts to replaace those on the standard RX300. Wife has really wanted a WoodGrain Steering wheel since we borrowed an RX330.

Well the reason I asked about parts is because we got our 99' RX at a pretty good price and don't want to increase our payments by moving up a couple years. However I think I might need new shocks and struts in the the next year or so and thought if the SS parts were that much better I would have those installed rather than the stock ones. The trim pieces aren't as important to me as the performance/handling parts.

I remember that the Euro RX300s only go to 201 hp so that one that you brought over should be among the fastest stock ones in Europe short of those powered with the TTE Compressor.

That is great infomration to have. Now if we could just find a supplier to pakage all the great parts from the Euro RX300 into a Euro Tune Package and upgrade our Rx300s. With the additional power of the US models I think it would be a great combination.

Thank you, Lexmex!! ;o)
You are totally correct on the Euro ones, that I have been looking into. They all got something around 200-205, so I assumed that mine was the same.
On the other hand, I found a UK spec. on Lexus RX300. They wrote
198 BHP/148 kW -Brithis horse power? Do they got stronger horses in UK?? ;o)
But this car also had a 112 mph speed limiter. I thuoght that was only US and japanees marked?

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier. I am of the opinion that even though they say 220 hp for the Western Hemisphere, I remember when the RX330 came out and it originally said 230 hp, but now that has been restated to 223 hp, so does that mean 213 hp for an RX300? Not sure. Remember that one never truly gets 220 hp or even the full amount of horses regardless of conditions. Though Lexus claims a 1999 RX300 AWD will hit 16.8 in the 1/4 mile, I find that baloney. I think it is probably much slower. Not too long ago, I remember Consumer Reports tested out an RX330 and got 17.0, so go figure.
I have always known that the Euro-spec RX300s had less hp and the ones in the Western Hemisphere. I also have never heard of a stock RX300 being allowed to go greater than the 112 hp. There have been devices (including one from TTE) that would allow one to go faster. I have been able to hit 120.9 in a steep dive (that same place where I did the recent video hitting 112 hp, but the 120.9 was verified by GPS), but even then I felt the fuel cut off and the inertia was keeping me going.
