Hi,
My RX300 is 1st Gen - 2003.
I got sticker under the bonnet that timing belt was replaced in 2001 at 51k miles (now it has 88k)
What is the schedule here:
every 90k or how many years?

The belt was replaced two years before the car was made??! I assume you meant 2011. It was placed early.
I'm over 130K on a 1999 built in 1998 delivered to me on Dec 22 1998 (my xmas present). Would I be jumping the gun by getting it changed now? I don't want to be a "worry wart" and change it to soon.

It should have been changed years ago! Change it NOW.

Which part of every 90k miles or 7 years is not clear to you? ;-)

If its never been changed, then it's due yesterday lol
Hey, that's not nice. They may have missed that post (easy to do on mobile) or not read the whole thread.
That is why there is a WINK at the end! Don't take life that seriously!!
And if you are right and first post was missed, then there is a good chance that my one is not.
Never the less belt (and rest of bits and pieces) should be immediately replaced.
