i recently purchased a 2001 rx300 and was wondering where i can buy the hatch cover for the back of the car. any help would be aprreciated. thanks

Could you clarify what you mean by "hatch cover"? You don't mean the rubber/plastic protector for the rear bumper, do you?

sorry, to be more specific, im looking for the cover that opens and closes when you open the hatch. i really dont know how to describe it. its so that you cant see anything in the back of the car while the hatch is down..

I think that, if you're in no great hurry, your best bet is to wait until one comes up on eBay, or maybe check a salvage (i.e., junk) yard. Otherwise, i concur with slick20 that one of the Lexus-parts sponsors of this board or your local dealer would be possibilities.

My 2001 RX300 came with a black plastic cover that you have to slide to cover the stuff that was in the trunk, but did not open with the hatch ? Like a roll-down blind that goes on a window and has catch.. same pull action .. Since it is standard dealer should be able to order it.

I sold my hatch cover and luggage rails on eBay. Didnt need them. I used the cash to make my first payment. And buy a spolier.

Hey thanks thats the one I just bought after it being posted here. i was looking on ebay for a while and was bidding on a few. This is the cheapest one Ive seen sold. The first couple I bid on went for over $200 with shipping.....
