That is interesting...that is one lightweight tire for the size as just about every other 18 inch tire I was looking at weight 28 lbs. or more.

My 235-70-16 CrossTerrains (Mexican version) only weigh 26 lbs. and with those RX rims also at 26 lbs. I am trying to find rims that are 15 lbs or lighter for 16 and in the case of 18, 17 pounds or lighter. Now, with those Goodyears...hmmm.

Can any one educate me, how a AWD is dynoed?
Special equipment? What factor is used to discount for fornt to back power distribution?

Lightweight carbon fiber is used to support stiffer outside sidewalls. Inside sidewalls are still traditional for a soft ride. Goodyear is using soft composite for shoulder thread, but use harder silica compound for inside thread, good combination of gripping and long thread wear.
23 lbs is way lighter than even the paper thin OEM Goodyear Integrity.
