Talking

Last night after dinner I decided to pin-stripe my RX. I've been putting it off since I purchased it this past May. The color is Burnished Gold Metallic so I used a thin double stripe of metallic silver. I have to say it looks pretty good. I've always had a knack at pin-striping and have been doing it for friends and family for the last 25 years. When I was done I had enough time to install the Lexus rubber bumper protector to the rear bumper. This helps protect the top of the bumper from scratches and also gives the rear of the vehicle a more "finished" look.
Hopefully by next month I'll be installing my Borla exhaust. I'll keep everyone posted...
Have an ICE day...

I installed the bumper pad too, I love the way it looks and is a necessity to me. I would love to see pictures of the borla when you are finished. Hope is sounds good - I like the RodMillen exhaust too. I will eventually get one or the other.

Default Scuff Plates

Anyone interested in purchasing brand new scuff plates for a RX 300 from 2001 model. These will fit perfect on 99-00. The originals are snapped in by three clips, easily removable with a screw driver. I paid $150 from autoperformance. Will sell it for $110 includes S/H

I am interested. Is this for the front and rear pair? Also, are they new in the box - have they been used?

Lex RX,

They have been used for 24 hours, I put them on, but my wife didn't wan't it, so took it next day. I think it looked great, but who am I to say, since she drives it most of the time.

They originally came in a plastic wrap and a non-custom box. I have the wraps and could get a similar box to mail.

The price I quoted is for all four doors (2 front, 2 back)

If interested email me at

Hey Coach,

You should put some "Coach Edition" emblems on...
