Where is a good front Jacking Point on the RX300
In the rear, there is a spot that looks like it was made for the floor jack. It is a rubber pad that fits perfectly in the jack pad. I use this to jack up the rear.
However, I have been using the front support bar that goes between the wheels to jack up the front of the vechicle. It looks like a very solid point, but after doing it several times, it appears to be warping a bit under the weight. Is there a better spot up front to jack up the vehicle?
There is a rubber spot just rear of this that may work, but I am not sure if it will hold the weight. Anyone know of a central spot in the front that can hold the weight of the entire front while jack stands are put under the frame rails? Thanks in advance.

There are center jack points at both the front and rear of my 2002 RX300. I don't recall any rubber on them though. (Maybe the rubber is from a floor jack somebody used in the past). I think the inner-most front spot you're referring to is the proper jack point.
I don't recall where I saw the diagrams of where they are, maybe the service manual.
You really need them with the RX300, since the only place to put jack-stands is the outer jack points by the wheels. My previous cars were my flexible in this regard.

Thanks for the reply. I Have been using the frame/skid as a place to put the jack stands in the front. It seems very solid and have not budged.
Do you happen to have a diagram or picture of where you put these points? I will give the center point you speak of a shot the next time the car goes up in the air. It is right next to the cats in the middle between the driver and passenger seats up front (maybe a little closer to the front of the vehicle). Thanks.
